Clemens never got on the board in their matchup last Tuesday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Johnson on Friday. They blew past the Jaguars 17-8. The Buffaloes might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 games by six runs or more this season.

Sophia Valencia made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over 4.1 innings pitched. Valencia was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-5.

In other batting news, Clemens got a massive performance out of Erika Padron, who went 3-for-5 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Celestina Daniels, who scored two runs while going 3-for-4.

Clemens kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 18 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in April of 2024.

Clemens' record now sits at 17-7. As for Johnson, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 18-4-1 record.
