Soccer Game Preview: Plainfield East vs. Plainfield Central

The Plainfield East Bengals will venture away from home to face off against the Plainfield Central Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Plainfield East is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to seven goals on Thursday, they were much more limited against Oswego on Monday. They lost 3-0 to the Panthers. While losing is never fun, Plainfield East can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois soccer rankings (they are ranked 107th, while Oswego are ranked tenth).

Meanwhile, Plainfield Central unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Saturday. They and Minooka finished up their contest with a 2-2 draw. The result kept Plainfield Central happy, as they haven't lost a game since April 3rd.

Plainfield Central's draw gives them a new season record of 8-2-4. As for Plainfield East, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-4-1.
