Softball Recap: Cosumnes Oaks Comes Up Short

Cosumnes Oaks was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 11-8 to the Argonaut Mustangs.

Sarah Fleishman made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. Mya Felizardo was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

Cosumnes Oaks' defeat dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Argonaut, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season.

Cosumnes Oaks has already played their next game, a 15-1 loss against East Union on the 26th. As for Argonaut, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 13-3 win against Lincoln on the 25th.
