Preview: Ridgedale Rockets vs. Waynesfield-Goshen Tigers
After three games on the road, Ridgedale is heading back home. They will take on the Waynesfield-Goshen Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Ridgedale will be strutting in after a win while Waynesfield-Goshen will be coming in after a defeat.
Last Tuesday, Ridgedale didn't have too much trouble with Crestline on the road as they won 42-26.
Meanwhile, Waynesfield-Goshen's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They were the victim of a rough 65-44 defeat at the hands of New Knoxville. Waynesfield-Goshen has struggled against New Knoxville recently, as their match on Tuesday was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.
Ridgedale's win bumped their record up to 11-9. As for Waynesfield-Goshen, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-11 record this season.
Everything went Ridgedale's way against Waynesfield-Goshen in their previous matchup back in February of 2022 as Ridgedale made off with a 46-25 win. Does Ridgedale have another victory up their sleeve, or will Waynesfield-Goshen turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
