Basketball Recap: Mt. Diablo Takes a Loss

Mt. Diablo lost against Lincoln back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Mt. Diablo Red Devils were dealt a 71-26 loss at the hands of the Lincoln Mustangs. The Red Devils' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it seven in a row.

Mt. Diablo's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Lincoln, their win bumped their record up to 3-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mt. Diablo and Deer Valley will compete for holiday cheer at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Mt. Diablo is facing Deer Valley at the right time seeing as Deer Valley is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Lincoln, they are headed away from home for the first time to face off against The Academy - San Francisco at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
