Basketball Recap: Northridge Extends Winning Streak to Three

Northridge had won two straight games and Lily Scholl did her part to make it three on Saturday. The Northridge Raiders took down the Fort Wayne Snider Panthers 68-52 thanks in part to Scholl, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and ten boards. She is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played.

Another player making a difference was Ella Mohamed, who posted ten points along with six assists and five rebounds. That's the most assists she has posted since back in November of 2023.

Fort Wayne Snider lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Kyra Parker, who went 7 of 13 en route to 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Janaya Cooper, who scored ten points and five boards.

Northridge's win bumped their record up to 19-4. As for Fort Wayne Snider, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-10 record this season.

Northridge will head out to face off against Plymouth at 7:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Fort Wayne Snider, they will be playing in front of their home fans against DeKalb at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Fort Wayne Snider is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50 points per game this season.
