Soccer Recap: West Middlesex Comes Up Short

West Middlesex was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against the Mercer Mustangs, falling 10-1. While losing is never fun, West Middlesex can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 482nd, while Mercer are ranked 111th).

West Middlesex's goal came courtesy of Piper Connors, who's now up to two this season.

West Middlesex's defeat dropped their record down to 0-14-1. As for Mercer, they pushed their record up to 11-2 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. West Middlesex will take on Oil City at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Mercer, they will challenge General McLane at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
