Volleyball Recap: Hononegah Indians vs. Rockford East E-Rabs
Hononegah had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They beat the Rockford East E-Rabs by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 2-0. The Indians have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the E-Rabs, too.
Hononegah easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-11.
Cami Jenkins was the offensive standout of the contest as she had ten digs.
Hononegah has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 27-8 record this season. As for Rockford East, their loss was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-24-1.
Hononegah will challenge DeKalb at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Rockford East does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
