Football Recap: Batesville Comes Up Short

Batesville was the 21-7 winner over Lawrenceburg when they last played one another back in November of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Bulldogs were dealt a 48-6 defeat at the hands of the Tigers on Friday. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Batesville's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Lawrenceburg, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Batesville will face off against Greensburg at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lawrenceburg, they will challenge Rushville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers will be up against the Lions' rather soft defense (which has allowed 39.17 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
