Baseball Recap: Mingus Comes Up Short

Mingus lost against Flagstaff last Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Marauders came up short against the Eagles, falling 10-1. The Marauders just can't catch a break and have now endured five defeats in a row.

Mingus saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kaden Pusl, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Mingus' loss dropped their record down to 4-13-1. As for Flagstaff, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mingus will host Moon Valley at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. The Marauders are facing the Rockets at the right time seeing as the Rockets are stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Flagstaff, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Lee Williams at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
