Football Game Preview: Montgomery Tigers vs. Logansport Tigers + How To Watch

Montgomery is 0-10 against Logansport since November of 2016 but things could change on Friday. Montgomery will challenge Logansport at 7:00 p.m. Montgomery has given up an average of 42.9 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Tigers on Friday. Montgomery came up short against St. Mary, falling 42-18. The matchup marked Montgomery's lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Despite their loss, Montgomery saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Jeremiah Christian, who rushed for 145 yards and one TD on only nine carries, was perhaps the best of all. The bulk of those rushing yards came from one huge play: a run that gained an incredible 90 yards. Montgomery also got help from Eli Bullock, who showed off his sure hands for 84 receiving yards.

Meanwhile, Logansport got themselves on the board against Lakeview on Friday, but Lakeview never followed suit. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Gators 52-0. That looming 52-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Tigers yet this season.

Logansport has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 31.2 points over those games. As for Montgomery, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Montgomery was dealt a bruising 40-8 defeat at the hands of Logansport in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Can Montgomery avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
