The Little River Academy Bumblebees will take on the McGregor Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Little River Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 33 points per game this season.

Little River Academy took a loss when they played away from home last Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 49-7 win over Troy. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 35-0.

The match pitted two dominant backs against one another in Brian Grissom and Jayden Lucky. Grissom had a great game and gained 322 total yards and three touchdowns. Meanwhile, Lucky was balling out in the loss, rushing for 145 yards and one touchdown.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 35 points the game before, McGregor was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They were beaten by Franklin 54-13. The defeat continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their meetings with the Lions: they've now lost six in a row.

Little River Academy will need to focus on slowing down Bubba Zacharias, one of several McGregor players who made an impact when they last played. He threw for 178 yards and a pair of TDs.

Little River Academy's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-4. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.0 points over those games. As for McGregor, their loss dropped their record down to 1-7.
