After a string of three wins, Central's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lee's Summit North Broncos. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Broncos this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in March.

Among those leading the charge was Brayden Wilson, who had seven digs and three aces. What's more, he posted two assists, the most he's had over his last five games.

Central's defeat dropped their record down to 15-12. As for Lee's Summit North, the victory was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-2-1.

Central has already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against St. Michael the Archangel on the 28th. As for Lee's Summit North, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Staley on the 25th.
