Football Game Preview: Stephenville Yellow Jackets/Honeybees vs. Pecos Eagles + How To Watch

The Stephenville Yellow Jackets/Honeybees will take on the Pecos Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Stephenville has ten straight wins, Pecos has four straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Stephenville's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They really took it to Burnet for the full four quarters, racking up a 49-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Yellow Jackets/Honeybees, who have now won nine contests by 21 points or more so far this season.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Stephenville's defense and their six sacks. That dominant display was truly a team effort as six different players picked up one apiece. They got some further help from Hudson Butchee: he picked up a sack and made 17 total tackles (2.0 for loss).

Meanwhile, Pecos came up short against Big Spring on Friday and fell 34-21.

Stephenville's win bumped their record up to 10-0. As for Pecos, their loss dropped their record down to 3-7.
