Baseball Recap: South Stokes Comes Up Short

South Stokes was the 7-3 winner over Elkin when they last played one another on Monday, but their luck changed this time around. The Sauras fell 4-1 to the Buckin' Elks on Friday. The Sauras have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

South Stokes saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Samuel Kidd, who went 1-for-4 with one RBI.

South Stokes' defeat dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Elkin, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-15.

As of now, neither South Stokes nor the Buckin' Elks have any future games scheduled.
