Volleyball Recap: East Davidson Comes Up Short + How To Watch

If East Davidson was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Thomasville on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Golden Eagles came up short against the West Davidson Dragons on Thursday, falling 3-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Golden Eagles in their meetings with the Dragons: they've now lost seven in a row.

East Davidson took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-15, 25-16.

West Davidson had a senior duo take command as Cheyenne Hedrick had 20 digs and two assists and Emoree Terry had 36 assists and 12 digs. Terry is crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 12 every time she's taken the court this season.

East Davidson's loss dropped their record down to 4-15. As for West Davidson, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-8 record this season.

East Davidson will take on Wheatmore at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. West Davidson does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
