Volleyball Recap: Inderkum Falls Short of Pleasant Grove in the Playoffs + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Inderkum can now relate to. They fell just short of the Pleasant Grove Eagles by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The Tigers have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Katie Beever paced Inderkum's offense, picking up 14 kills. Beever got some help from Abigail HOnan and her 17 assists. Ayva Vasquez controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Pleasant Grove's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Leann Mendoza, who had nine digs and four aces. That's the most aces Mendoza has posted over her last nine matchups.

Inderkum's loss dropped their record down to 14-19. As for Pleasant Grove, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-10 record this season.

Inderkum does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Pleasant Grove, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Oak Ridge on the 30th.
