Softball Recap: Wausau West Takes a Loss

Wausau West lost against New Richmond back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Warriors fell 11-6 to the Tigers.

Wausau West dropped their record down to 2-5 with the loss, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. As for New Richmond, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Wausau West wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 12-1 victory against Superior on the 18th. As for New Richmond, they will venture away from home to square off against Eau Claire North at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Huskies' pitching crew has only allowed 3.6 runs per game this season, so the Tigers' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
