Basketball Recap: Ringgold Takes a Loss

If Ringgold was riding high fresh off their 66-29 takedown of Washington last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Rams fell just short of the Belle Vernon Leopards by a score of 70-67 on Friday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Saturday (66), the Rams still had to take the loss.

Ringgold dropped their record down to 1-1 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ringgold and Elizabeth Forward will face off at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest, having both just played. As for Belle Vernon, they and Bishop Canevin will face off at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest, having both just played.
