Soccer Recap: Stephenson Comes Up Short

Stephenson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They came up short against the Clarkston Angoras, falling 10-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Stephenson of the 10-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

Stephenson's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Clarkston, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-6-1 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Stephenson will venture away from home to square off against Lithonia at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Clarkston, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Cross Keys at 6:00 p.m. on the 15th.
