Softball Recap: Scranton Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Scranton's offense. They came up short against the Holy Cross Crusaders on Friday, falling 10-0. The Knights have struggled against the Crusaders recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Scranton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Holy Cross, the win keeps they at an undefeated 7-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Scranton will host Scranton Prep at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Cavaliers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed ten runs per game on average), something the Knights will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Holy Cross, they will welcome Holy Redeemer at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
