Fans got a thrill when Dexter Norris and Colter Silhan connected against Cedar Vale/Dexter. The connection went for 61 yards, the longest such play in South Central Border (8 Man) this season.
West Elk extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Hartford, 54-8. This was the team's eighth consecutive win.
Udall's dynamic duo of Alex Perez and Nolan Williams proved to be unstoppable against Central, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Perez threw for 109 yards and 2 touchdowns and Williams had 85 yards receiving. Dalton Loos helped Udall's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 24 yards.
Argonia/Attica's Alec McDaniel and Garrett Wells have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. 5-7 quarterback McDaniel has thrown for 1,079 yards this season, while Wells has 33 catches for 414 yards. Armando Gomez from West Elk leads the league in rushing with 1,132 yards.
An important game coming up in South Central Border (8 Man) this week will be when Oxford takes on Chris Haag's team. The Wildcats are in fourth place, while the Patriots are in first place.
