Flint Hills Christian took a three-set loss the last time they faced off against Veritas Christian, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Warriors had just enough and edged out the Eagles 2-1.

Flint Hills Christian's win bumped their record up to 13-17-3. As for Veritas Christian, they moved to 7-6 with that defeat, which also ended their three-match winning streak.

Looking ahead, Flint Hills Christian will square off against Newton (Home School) at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Veritas Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
