Softball Recap: Hillsboro Takes a Loss

Hillsboro had taken Antioch down for four straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Tuesday. The Burros fell 6-3 to the Bears. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since May 3, 2021, but that streak is no more.

Hillsboro's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Antioch, their victory bumped their record up to 10-7.

Looking ahead, Hillsboro will face off against Overton at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Antioch, they will challenge Stratford at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Spartans have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 17.86 runs per game on average), something the Bears will no doubt try to take advantage of.
