Recap: Woodmont vs. J.L. Mann
Tuesday just wasn't the day for the Woodmont Wildcats's offense. They suffered a rough 4-0 defeat at the hands of J.L. Mann on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, Woodmont can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 122nd, while J.L. Mann is ranked first).
This is the second loss in a row for Woodmont and nudges their season record down to 1-5. As for J.L. Mann, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 9-0.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Woodmont will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Powdersville at 7:00 p.m. on March 25th. As for J.L. Mann, they will be playing in front of their home fans against T.L. Hanna at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
