Volleyball Recap: Devine Takes a Loss

Devine was the 3-0 winner over Uvalde when they last played one another back in September, but their luck changed this time around. The Warhorses / Arabians fell 3-1 to the Coyotes/Lobos (for girls) on Tuesday. The Warhorses / Arabians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 16-25, 25-7, 25-23.

Aimee Carr paced Devine's offense, picking up 19 kills. Carr got some help from Kynedie Cruz and her 20 assists.

Devine's loss dropped their record down to 19-17. As for Uvalde, they now have a winning record of 9-8.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Devine will face off against rival Carrizo Springs at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Uvalde is set to take on their familiar foe Somerset at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
