Volleyball Recap: Cartersville Picks Up Fifth Consecutive Win

Cartersville waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the River Ridge Knights. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Hurricanes also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2023.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Cartersville to victory, but perhaps none more so than Mckenzie Wilkie, who had nine digs and two aces.

Cartersville's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for River Ridge, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.

Cartersville has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Harrison on the 9th. As for River Ridge, they will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on North Cobb Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
