Volleyball Recap: Syracuse Academy of Science Atoms vs. Bishop Ludden Gaelic Knights
Syracuse Academy of Science had to start their season on the road on Monday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell just short of the Bishop Ludden Gaelic Knights by a score of 3-2. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Atoms of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2023.
Syracuse Academy of Science took Bishop Ludden into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking four-point loss. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-13, 21-25, 22-25, 15-11.
The win was the third in a row for Bishop Ludden, bringing their record for this year to 10-3.
