Moscow and Sandpoint are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2022, but not for long. The Moscow Bears will welcome the Sandpoint Bulldogs at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Moscow has now lost eight straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since January 4.

Last Tuesday, Moscow had to suffer through a 68-33 loss at the hands of Lewiston. While losing is never fun, the Bears can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Idaho basketball rankings (they are ranked 65th, while the Bengals are ranked ninth).

Meanwhile, Sandpoint earned a 63-51 victory over St. Maries on Thursday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bulldogs.

Sandpoint's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-8. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.6 points over those games. As for Moscow, their loss dropped their record down to 6-12.
