Football Recap: Julian Pascual's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Twin Springs over Craig County + How To Watch

After flying high against J.I. Burton last Friday, Twin Springs came back down to earth. The Titans fell 35-28 to the Craig County Rockets on Friday. The Titans' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Twin Springs' defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Julian Pascual, who rushed for 114 yards and one TD on only 12 carries, and also picked up 34 receiving yards. Clay Ross was in the mix too, providing the Titans with two touchdowns.

Craig County was led to victory by Robbie Eakin and Bradyn Dunbar. Eakin rushed for 85 yards and one score on only eight carries, while Dunbar gained 47 total yards.

Twin Springs' loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Craig County, they pushed their record up to 4-0 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Twin Springs will venture away from home to challenge Twin Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Titans will be up against the Panthers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 34.6 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Craig County, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Stonewall Jackson at 7:00 p.m. The Rockets will be up against the Generals' rather soft defense (which has allowed 34 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
