Basketball Recap: Gans Takes a Loss

Gans was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Weleetka Outlaws 65-22. The Grizzlies lost against the Outlaws in their previous head to head back in February of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 58-50 score last time.

Gans' defeat dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Weleetka, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 7-2.

Gans will challenge Midway at 6:00 p.m. on January 27th. Gans is facing Midway at the right time seeing as Midway is stuck on a six-game losing streak. Weleetka has already played their next match, a 55-44 loss against Riverfield Country Day on the 21st.
