The Juneau-Douglas Crimson Bears will venture away from home to take on the West Anchorage Eagles at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Juneau-Douglas will be strutting in after a win while West Anchorage will be coming in after a loss.

Juneau-Douglas is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Alaska's top teams: Colony, who was ranked 13th at the time (Juneau-Douglas was ranked tenth). The Crimson Bears took down the Knights 34-20 on Saturday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Crimson Bears.

Meanwhile, West Anchorage came up short against Bartlett on Friday and fell 20-12. The game marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Juneau-Douglas' victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for West Anchorage, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 6-1.
