Edison is 8-2 against Lanier since February of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Golden Bears will head out on the road to square off against the Voks at 5:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Edison has five straight victories, Lanier has 14 straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the pitch.

Edison proved they can win big on Wednesday (they won by three) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out Fox Tech 4-3. Four seems to be a good number for Edison as the team scooped up a win with the same number of goals in their previous game.

They hit Fox Tech with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Brissa Esquivel (2), Eva Vazquez-Gutierrez, and Sophia Rodriguez-Castillo.

Meanwhile, Lanier lost 6-1 to Seguin on Friday.

Lanier's loss dropped their record down to 1-16. As for Edison, their victory bumped their record up to 10-6-2.

Everything went Edison's way against Lanier when the teams last played back in January, as Edison made off with a 6-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Golden Bears since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
