Basketball Recap: East Rockingham Takes a Loss

East Rockingham was the 61-48 winner over Turner Ashby when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The East Rockingham Eagles fell 73-62 to the Turner Ashby Knights on Friday. The Eagles just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

East Rockingham's loss dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Turner Ashby, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-8.

East Rockingham will be playing in front of their home fans against William Monroe at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Turner Ashby, they will venture away from home to challenge Harrisonburg at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Turner Ashby knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Harrisonburg likes a good challenge.
