Softball Recap: Duncan Takes a Loss

Duncan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 21-18 to the Valley Union Blue Devils. The Wildkats were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Blue Devils earlier this season, when they won 21-10.

Duncan's loss dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Valley Union, their win bumped their record up to 4-7.

Looking ahead, Duncan is taking a road trip to take on Fort Thomas at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Valley Union, they will be playing in front of their home fans against St. David at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. The Blue Devils' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Tigers have averaged an impressive 13.5 runs per game this season.
