Football Game Preview: Fairview Aggies vs. Good Hope Raiders + How To Watch

Fairview is a perfect 3-0 against Good Hope since September of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Aggies will host the Raiders at 7:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Good Hope will face off against a team with plenty of momentum: Fairview extended their winning streak to nine on Friday. The Aggies took their contest with ease, bagging a 40-10 win over East Limestone. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 33-3.

Fairview got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Jake Harper out in front who rushed for 175 yards and one TD while picking up 8.3 yards per carry. Harper's rushing production has been exceptional for a while as that marked his 12th straight game with at least 121 rushing yards dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kolt Redding, who threw for 174 yards and four touchdowns while completing 76.5% of his passes.

Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Fairview proved: they limited East Limestone to a paltry three yards per carry. While three picked up at least three total tackles, Harper stood above the rest. He rushed for 175 yards and one score while picking up 8.3 yards per carry. Fairview didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 6.8.

Meanwhile, Good Hope made easy work of Dora on Friday and carried off a 35-15 win. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Raiders' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Alabama football rankings (they are ranked 107th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 272nd).

Fairview better keep an eye on Parker Johnson. He was instrumental in Good Hope's win, rushing for 258 yards and three TDs on only nine carries.

Fairview's victory bumped their record up to 9-0. As for Good Hope, their win bumped their record up to 8-1.

Everything came up roses for Fairview against Good Hope when the teams last played back in November of 2024, as the team secured a 48-21 victory. Will the Aggies repeat their success, or do the Raiders have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
