Baseball Recap: Fulton Takes a Loss

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Fulton's offense. They came up short against the Sherman Oaks CES Knights on Wednesday, falling 9-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 26-1 back in March.

This is the second loss in a row for Fulton and nudges their season record down to 2-7. As for Sherman Oaks CES, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fulton will square off against Valley Oaks CES at 2:30 p.m. on Friday. The Vanguards will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last. As for Sherman Oaks CES, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Northridge Academy at 2:30 p.m. on the 25th.
