While James Monroe put up some runs on Friday, the same can't be said for Liberty. The Mavericks walked away with a 4-0 victory over the Raiders. The Mavericks haven't had any issues with the Raiders recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Not much got past Carson Koen, who gave up just two hits and racked up 12 Ks to keep Liberty off the board. Koen has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.

At the plate, James Monroe saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Peyton Gardinier, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one run. Another was Kadyn Hines, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one run.

James Monroe's record now sits at 12-10. As for Liberty, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-6.
