Menchville is 9-1 against Denbigh since April of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Monarchs will welcome the Patriots at 4:30 p.m. Menchville will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
Menchville is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They were the clear victors by a 19-2 margin over Phoebus on Monday. The Monarchs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by seven runs or more this season.

Taylor Twitchell (2027) made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out 11 batters over 4.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off two hits (and only one walk). She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April.
In other batting news, Rashani Sackey (2026) was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in doubles (two). Suki Gibbons (2027) was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple and one run.
Menchville always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .704. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Phoebus only posted an OBP of .176.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 12 runs the game before, Denbigh was a bit more limited in their match on Monday. They came up short against Bethel, falling 11-1. The Patriots' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.
Menchville pushed their record up to 11-6 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.7 runs on average over those games. As for Denbigh, they now have a losing record of 10-11.
Denbigh's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Menchville hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .349. It's a different story for Denbigh, though, as they've only averaged .235. Will they be able to contain Menchville's hitters?
Menchville took their win against Denbigh in their previous matchup back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 19-0 score. Will the Monarchs repeat their success, or do the Patriots have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
