Baseball Recap: Lincoln Comes Up Short

Lincoln was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 16-1 to the Kearny Kardinals. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Kardinals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-0 last Monday.

Lincoln's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Kearny, their win ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-1.

Coming up, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Lincoln Lions challenge McNair Academic Cougars at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Kearny, they will head out to square off against St. Peter's Prep at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Marauders will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Kardinals surely won't give up without a fight.
