            Volleyball Recap: Superior Wildcats vs. Sutton Mustangs        
        
		
        
        
            Superior lost against Sutton back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result  on Tuesday. The Wildcats took  a  2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mustangs. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.
 Olivia Smullins paced Superior's offense, picking up five kills. Smullins got some help from  Maddi Bargen and her 12 assists.  Paityn Blauvelt controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.
 Among those leading the charge was   Kyla Griess, who  had 16  digs and two  assists. She is  on a roll when it comes to  digs, as she's  now  had ten or more in each of the last three games she's  played. Another player making a difference was  Elsa Andersen, who  had seven  digs and six assists.
Superior's loss dropped their record down to 3-23. As for Sutton, their victory bumped their record up to 16-11.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Superior will host Sandy Creek  at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Sutton, after both having extra time off, they and Nebraska Christian will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another  at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. The Eagles will roll in looking for their  tenth straight  win, something the Mustangs surely won't give up without a fight.
