Baseball Recap: Pueblo Centennial Comes Up Short

Pueblo Centennial was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 12-1 to the Pueblo County Hornets. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bulldogs of the 14-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Pueblo Centennial saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Landen Lenn, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Pueblo Centennial's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Pueblo County, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 13-2.

Looking ahead, Pueblo Centennial will challenge Alamosa at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Pueblo County, they will face off against Pueblo South at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Hornets' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Colts have averaged an impressive 7.7 runs per game this season.
