Basketball Recap: Monterey Takes a Loss

Monterey was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 21st straight defeat. They took a 64-48 bruising from the Scott Highlanders. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 326th, while the Highlanders are ranked 84th).

Monterey's loss dropped their record down to 1-26. As for Scott, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 20-6.

As of now, neither Monterey nor Scott have any future games scheduled.
