Football Recap: Mt. Mansfield Comes Up Short

Mt. Mansfield faced U-32 in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Cougars took a blow against the Raiders, falling 36-7. The Cougars haven't had much luck with the Raiders recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Mt. Mansfield's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for U-32, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-2.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Mt. Mansfield is set to face off against their familiar foe Bellows Falls at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, U-32 will take on rival Fair Haven at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
