Volleyball Recap: Wasatch Comes Up Short

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Wasatch couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They lost 3-0 to the Maple Mountain Golden Eagles on Saturday. The Wasps haven't had much luck with the Golden Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Maple Mountain found their leader in freshman McKay Beattie, who had 13 digs and four assists. Beattie has been hot, having posted 11 or more digs the last five times he's played.

Wasatch's loss dropped their record down to 21-9. As for Maple Mountain, the victory was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 29-1.

As of now, neither Wasatch nor the Golden Eagles have any future games scheduled.
