Football Recap: Cohen Takes a Loss

Cohen was the 38-28 winner over Thomas Jefferson when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Green Hornets took a 52-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of Thomas Jefferson on Friday.

Cohen's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Thomas Jefferson, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cohen will challenge Metairie Park Country Day at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Green Hornets will need to watch out since the Cajuns have now posted at least 31 points in their last three games. As for Thomas Jefferson, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Haynes Academy at 7:00 p.m. Haynes Academy will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each matchup than the last.
