Softball Recap: Wagner Comes Up Short

Wagner was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 16th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Gonzales Apaches, falling 8-2.

The victory made it two in a row for Gonzales and bumps their season record up to 2-0.

Wagner has already played their next match (against Seguin), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Gonzales will hit the road for the first time this season to square off against New Braunfels at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
