Softball Recap: St. Ignace Comes Up Short

St. Ignace was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 8-4 to the Brimley Bays. If the Saints were looking for revenge after losing 16-9 to the Bays when the teams met back in June of 2016, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Cadence Cullen made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

St. Ignace's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Brimley, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Ignace will square off against Sault Area at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Brimley, they will take on Charlevoix at 4:15 p.m. on Friday.
