Soccer Recap: Centennial Comes Up Short

Centennial and South squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Centennial had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Spartans by a score of 2-1. The loss continues a trend for Centennial in their meetings with South: they've now lost six in a row.

Centennial's goal came courtesy of Calixto Gonzales, who's now up to two this season.

Centennial now has a losing record of 8-9-6. As for South, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-8-3.

Centennial does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for South, they will take on Wasco at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
