Volleyball Recap: Kankakee Valley Takes a Loss

Kankakee Valley was the 3-0 winner over Munster when they last played one another back in September, but their luck changed this time around. The Kougars fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. While the Kougars didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Mustangs 25-20 in the first set.

Kankakee Valley started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 20-25, 18-25, 25-23, 25-17, 15-11.

Despite the loss, Kankakee Valley still got an impressive performance from Emmie Przybylski, who had 22 digs. Przybylski has been hot recently, having posted ten or more digs the last three times she's played.

This is the second loss in a row for Kankakee Valley and nudges their season record down to 14-11. As for Munster, they moved to 5-24-1 with that victory, which also ended their four-match losing streak.

Kankakee Valley didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 loss against Kouts on the 8th. As for Munster, they will head out to take on Highland at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
